RNCA member Harvey Garrett gives a presentation on the West Side Community Collaborative. The Collaborative is involved with the improvement of neighborhoods bordering the west side of Richmond Ave. Harvey is very involved with this project, and stressed its importance to Richmond residents.

 

bullet The completion of both the W Ferry and Symphony Circles in 2002 was topped off by a spectacular dedication ceremony. In the center of each circle is an ornate replica of the five globed light standard that was originally standing in these locations in the early 1900s.

Progress on the Upper West Arts Center. No updates on what is happening with this building other than the need for more funds.  It is our hope that the final funds can be raised to complete this important project.

"R" is for Richmond!  That was the choice (Best Of WNY A-Z) in 2004s  May/June issue of Buffalo Spree. The article went on to discuss a brief history of Richmond Avenue from its beginnings as Rogers Road to the recent restoration of Symphony and Ferry Circles. Great story. Check it out!
